Le Comptoir - Paris

This restaurant is across the street from The Catacombs. The service is friendly, the menu offers considerable choice, and the portions are large. We enjoyed a Croque Monsieur, a Croque Madame, an Italian Salad, Fish& Chips, and Crème Brûlée for dessert. They also offer a kids’ menu. We came in for a late lunch. They were sold out of escargots, the custard dessert and chocolate ice cream. The serving staff speak both French and English, which was helpful.

Cliche French rudeness. They wanted payment in cash, instead of Visa for some reason and made some odd for us about wanting cash. Only reason this restaurant has clients , it’s because of proximity to the catacomb exit. Sucks

Was ‘greeted’ by a rude waiter. Seemingly because we were English (was pleasant to French customers). So we just left. Don’t bother if you’re English If the waiter ever comes to the UK, I hope we do not treat him as unpleasant as he does to English.

Stumbled into the place after leaving Catacombes, had a burger and gnocchi. Burger was OK but Gnocchis were really good. Nice, cozy table to sit outside. Average price for Paris, good food

Good reception, high quality price very good for bets. dishes are cooked, copied and of good quality. pleasant atmosphere, patterns and servers present without being omnipresent. a typical French bistro that does not take tourists for cons. It's finally good.
