Le Compas - Paris

We spent four full days in Paris, and ate dinner and lunch each day at different restaurants. This was easily my favorite (although they were all very good). Le Compas has a great vibe, our server was awesome, and the food was outstanding. My wife...had the Thai chicken wok, not really french, but very good. But she did try the escargot for an appetizer and said it wasn't bad. I went with the Croque Madame, which was awesome. Not sure if this is a French thing or not, but it was a home run with me. To me, it seemed like a ham grilled cheese sandwich, but the cheese is somehow on the outside on top of the bread. You eat it with a fork knife. Also came with fries, which were the best in Paris. Had a glass of Saint Emilion red wine, also very good. This is one place I would want to hit again if ever in France.

Good quality meat (burgers, steak tartare and I can recommend the epaule d 'agneau . Some nice wines sold by the glass. Although the terrace was packed, we didn 't have to wait long to be served. Our very friendly waiter added to the good experience!

Beautiful place in the lively neighborhood of Montorgeuil,. super achalanded and large outdoor terrace, watching people at its best. Fantastic burgers here, foie gras is nice too. good service, not too fast because they are full every night, so don't rush.

Our bike guide recommended this restaurant and we had fun. he booked us a reservation, and we took a table not quite on the terrace but perfectly located a few rows back. we were close to all the action but a little far away, ideal to look at people. We tasted snails, delicious handmade beers and salads and hamburgers. food is not extraordinary, but it was tasty and copyy and the atmosphere is fun. We had a very good evening with our family and we recommend it.

Good food in a nice place. the price may be a little abusive if we consider what is proposed, but the food is good. pleasant for a sunny Sunday. There was the tataki tuna, delicious!
