Bidrage med feedbackOne of my favorite experiences in paris. at the first visit we had weeping and I had the same absinthe served the right way in a glass, a sugar spoon and ice-cold water. it was my first time I tried absinthe who was waiter. so friendly and so gentleman. as good as me. our second visit I had a burger than a meal. that was the best burger I ever had! I have eaten burger at some great places, but this wins hands down! I also served some absinthe from the same amazing waiter who also bought us a free desert! it was also amazing. red wine was great, but the absinthe was just great, it was my birthday and a real tasty.
My husband and I came early for dinner. Had a good outside table with a nice view. The service was very attentive and personal, but I wish I had listened to his suggestions regarding the food. The server said the meat was best but I...wanted the pasta. What a mistake, the pasta turned out to be terrible but the steak my husband had was very good. So mixed feelings regarding this restaurant
We really enjoyed the service and the meal with our seats on the terrace. we had a wonderful green bean starter followed by steak and artichoke with flower charcoal. all excellent with a good wine list, not too overwhelming. our waiter was very friendly and...attentively best dinner for us in paris and all quite reasonable.
We liked the feel of L'Absinthe from having drinks there a few weeks ago. The ambience is wonderful, the food and wine were good, the absinthe experience interesting. The manager (owner? seemed somewhat curt and businesslike in contrast to the diligent and friendly waiters. The...starters would good, esp. les grenouille, and the ravioli main course, but both my main course and my partner's were lukewarm. I mentioned this to the waiter, who apologised, and to the manager/owner, who didn't. We may have just been unlucky. We may well try again, perhaps on a less busy evening, because there were many plus points. . . .
We made a reservation early afternoon and they accommodated us with the time of our choice. The food was excellent, very tasty and well presented. Didier, our waiter, was informative and made the evening enjoyable and one to remember. Our first visit to l’Absinthe was 4...years ago and it was even better than we remembered it. We will certainly come here again next time we are in Paris.
