Bidrage med feedbackAn unexpected find in Paredes! We had such a delicious vegan meal. We felt the love and passion from the owner who wants to satisfy the dietary needs of all of her customers no matter who they are. The meal just knocked our socks off! We will be back and so should you, especially if you are from a blended family (i.e. lactose- free, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, even some meat (organic and ethically sourced for your parents/grandparents who refuse to change
I went here for lunch on a Saturday in June 2019 and on a Tuesday a few days later. I ordered one of the salads and it was pretty good. There is a guy there who speaks English pretty well so he helped me make a choice and also gave me a bilingual menu. This restaurant is located in a food court inside a shopping mall. In the same food court there is another healthy restaurant that makes salads and sandwiches, some of which can be made vegetarian or vegan. I haven't had a chance to try that yet. Pricing seems about the same but this restaurant has a nicer atmosphere. Monday through Friday at lunch they have a meal of the day and it comes with a bowl of soup, the main plate, water and coffee for €6.95. The menu has a veggie and non-veggie option. The veggie option of the day was tofu but they didn't have tofu in stock that day, so no veggie option on the menu deal.
We had a vegan francesinha and it was really good ,the portion of fries was on point , same for tofu and seitan , the homemade gluten free bread was a surprise bonus and gave great touch and it was for a great price 25€ with 2 drinks). There were a good variety of vegan and gluten free options, including francesinha and pizzas, starters and desserts. The staff and manager were really friendly. I would give 5 but HappyCow don’t let me because you are not fully vegetarian or vegan. Hoping to see you soon on OPorto.
Green introduces a good concept of trying to serve anyone who walks in, be it vegan, vegetarian, gluten free food, alongside traditional food with organic and biological ingredients. I tried a vegan “francesinha” (traditional Portuguese dish and it was very tasty, good sauce, and great use of vegan cheese. Too bad it didn’t come with the fries (I had to order them separately . Overall good environment, wide space with nice employees and the owner is very nice too. It’s a bit on the pricey side for what it offers. We paid around 30 euros for 2 people no desert included.
