Bidrage med feedbackAt first glance, I fell in love with the Imperial Post Office in Parchim. The building was a post office that was rebuilt in 1898 (I believe) and has a ton of charm! The hotel is modern and the food is amazing. You have a brewery and a restaurant on the ground. The room I have is large and comfortable and the concierge has visited all my wishes. Fortunately, they speak for me a decent amount of English and were very patient with my brutal attempts to learn German. I would highly recommend this hotel!
We (4 babies at the Imperial Post Office yesterday. The greeting was kind. Another chair was provided directly for our baby. Generally, our service was very child-loving and accommodating. In many restaurants, unfortunately, you are often stunned when the child gives the smallest mice of himself, that was not so here, why we immediately felt. There was Carpaccio (from Rind, that was really delicious and decorated with a small salad). In addition, we ordered the Alsatian flame cake, the juicy brewhouse Haxe, the buttery beef roast and the carriage dinner bread. The flame cake tasted very fresh, equipped with a crisp rag and a good ham/shock. The floor was thin and crispy as it should be! Also the selected meat dishes were delicious...super delicate, well roasted meat, with fresh mushrooms and well lubricated roast potatoes. Very delicious. Additional wishes, such as divided portions and other vegetables, have also been accepted. The beer is brewed there. It was good, The Dessert rounded off our dinner well. The cream Brülée was exemplary, decorated with a crispy blanket and as a cucumber with delicious fruits. We haven't eaten so well for a long time and we should be back in the area! Thank you.
I would have got three stars, but the accompaniment took off the star. The welcome of the new guests was a bit cool, they did not really feel welcome. But we didn't let ourselves be deterred. The appetizers were delicious. The Soljanka had little meat and more paprika, but everyone else does. The carrot ginger soup was very delicious. The drinks are good. There are even white chocolates. The salad was unfortunately completely sandy so that after repeated crippling between the teeth the further food was set. Too bad. The Rumpsteak was more than ****, although he was ordered as a medium. It was eaten anyway. The vegetarian pasta was very delicious. I thought so. Too bad it wasn't as delicious as expected. I don't think we're coming back here. EC payment possible.
At the Imperial Post Office for Lunch. There were only two guests. The complex is beautiful and we were looking for a cozy window. We ordered from the cheap lunch ticket. Every dish for 6,50 euros, that's really cheap. The parts were sufficient. What disturbed us were the long waiting times. Dessert also wanted to take the day ticket. Unfortunately, the dessert was not available. We had to wait for the bill for a long time. Very delicious, but you should plan time.
