Cafe Diem - Papillion

Food was decent and in good portions. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Pricing was average. Atmosphere was old school but welcoming.

I stumbled across Cafe Diem on a recent trip to Omaha. Everything I had (and I went twice this trip! was absolutely exceptional. It’s comfort food done right. If you want breakfast or lunch, it’s one of the best spots in Omaha. I had a chance to talk with Steve, one of the owners, and he possesses the two most important traits a restaurant owner can have a great thoughtfulness regarding the quality of ingredients he chooses to use and a genuine passion for feeding people. I will definitely be back every time I find myself in Omaha.

We love the breakfast chimichanga! A perfect blend of taste! Also you have to get the cinnamon roll. It was fresh and delicious. It is pet friendly on the patio.

Found a fantastic breakfast spot. On a crowded Sunday morning we only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Staff attentive and friendly. Same goes for the owner. Food delicious. Can't wait to come back.

This is the best breakfast restaurant i have ever been too. the service is outstanding. only waited a minute to be greeted, sat right away. My server was helpful with suggestions, very fast with great suggestions. The breakfast BLT was fantastic. Plenty of bacon and very fresh produce. great pricing. the owner stops by and touches al of the tables to make sure everything is going perfectly. you can really feel here that the highest priority is the guests experience. I walked in by happenstance and will be returning in the future even though this location is 20 minutes out of my way at any given time. Thank you very much for the great service!
