It 's a shop we 've been to as many times as we 've been in Paleo Panteleimon since 2013 (at least six times for both coffee and their sweets, especially their galaktobourek and chocolate pie. Apart from the fact that now the sweets are different and below average, the service we had from the older gentleman who stood speechless and with obvious negativity at the entrance of the cafe was quite unpleasant. We asked if we could get sweets to take away (a typical we thought question because until then the answer was a given yes and after a pause of a few seconds he asked us how many pieces we wanted. What, if we wanted little, wouldn 't they give it to us? The last time we had bought a whole pan of chocolate pie, they gave it to us as a takeaway... Without saying anything, he went to the sweets and waited for us to tell him what we wanted. Before he let us in we asked if we could pay by card and the answer we got was a displeased face mixed with an affirmative nod and a what can I tell you now mumble. After he prepared them for us with great delay, we paid the much more friendly and pleasant young man at the bar and left. We ignored the objectionable gentleman and didn 't leave on the spot as he deserved because we expected to eat the wonderful sweets we have known for so many years. Unfortunately the chocolate pie had a nasty gritty texture and fell apart easily nothing to do with the velvety rich texture we were used to, the revani was a syrupy dense cake and the galaktobourek which were once wonderfully tasty individual wrapped pieces is now a completely unremarkable piece of milk pie in layers. It goes without saying that we are not going to set foot there again. Shops that don 't want to work properly and don 't respect the customer who chooses to leave their money there, don 't deserve to have a job. 2013 15.1.2023

Great spot and awesome space. Next time I will prefer to sit inside next to the fireplace which has a great atmosphere Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: €1–5
