Osteria Degli Amici - PANDINO

Lunch with business colleagues was enjoyable for both the ambience and the menu. Local wines on the card, clean premises, friendly services.

I just happened to visit Gradella, near Pandino. Delightful! Deciding to have lunch there, I looked to the right and then to the left..Il Borgo or Osteria degli Amici? I made my choice. I was received by rather a cold young woman. I was given the fixed price lunch menu without having a choice! I chose the only pasta dish that had no indication of meat or meat broth. It was not good at all. I explained I didn't eat meat to the charming young lady who served me. There was no substitute to the menu offered...not even cheese! I opted to eat what was called a vegetarian side-dish, skipping the second course,boiled FROZEN vegetables! Potatoes, maybe not frozen, runner beans and baby carrots. I asked them to add broccoli...also of frozen origin, watery tastelessness! I had a quart of red house wine and a bottle of water and a ginseng coffee. Cost 10 euro...I suppose I can't complain! :

Cosy atmosphere, one of my favourite places to have dinner with friends. Food is good and tipycal. The vilage is amazing.
