Paula Deen's Family Kitchen

I really liked it, but I didn't love it. Most of all we tried was pretty good, but not great for me, although my wife thought it was great. Beautiful atmosphere with pretty good service. The servers were really nice and accommodating, but they were short at the night we went so it hit or miss at times. It is what they call a family style setting where you choose your meat and your sides then your desert. It's all-du-can-eat. Price is too high unless you can eat 2 or 3 dishes then maybe it is worth the price, although the quality is only average for me. As far as the retail department, they have many Paula items for sale, so if you love Paula like my wife, you can buy some things. I won't be in a hurry to go back.

Your all this place has amazing food and excellent service. Make sure to bring your appetite. We ordered the fried chicken, chicken and dumplings and catfish. For the sides we have brought Mac and cheese, collar, potato salad and potatoes. The whole food was delicious and dessert was included in the price. This place is a must when you visit Pier Park.

This was our first time to eat here. Definitely not the last. We arrived at about 5 a.m. and then sit on our stand. In less than 2 minutes in the resturant we had the appetizer biscuit on our table. “The texture and aromas are excellent”. We also ordered a Margarita and a **** Mary both were Top Notch. They offer family-style meals (2meat and 4 pages). We ordered the fried chicken and reserve ribs, squash casrole, Mac and cheese, black eyes peas and cream corn. The fried chicken was cooked for perfection, the meat was perfect and the bread was delicious. The replacement ribs fell from the bone with a perfect amount of glazed Bbq sauce spread over. I'll get the pages in the order from best to last. Black eyepis #1 had a perfect addition to the original taste with the added bacon. Next, #2 the Squash Casserole was brilliant the texture was also perfect. Then, #3 Mac and cheese. Another unique recording on a land original. Finally, #4 of the framed corn. To be fair, I was so filled with all the foods and my plate was full, so I could not taste them. Wow, money well spent, but they still have dessert to serve. No place for me, but the bite I had was delicious. Bring your appetite if you want to eat everything you want. Can't wait to hear eating next year when we return. Thank you. Paula Deans.

Really good food. Chicken was perfect ribs were tender. Squash casserole tasted like it was fresh picked. Desert oh my!
