Sante Panama - Panama City

We had a taxi to take us to the downtown area for $10 We walked around and found the restaurant. We ate outdoors and it was very pleasant. Waiter was very helpful and friendly. We had chicken nachos, empanadas, passion fruit margaritas. It was less than $50 with to included.

We stumbled on this place while looking for dinner on New Year's Day and it seemed like most of the other restaurants were closed due to the holiday. Food was ok... Nothing special. The menu was pretty large, offering something for everyone which is a plus. The service wasn't great. Our waiter warned us that it was going to be slow because of how busy they were, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, they brought us the wrong food, didn't give us napkins and kept forgetting to bring me another beer... Even though they kept coming back to the table asking if I wanted another. Overall not a bad place considering the ambiance, especially at night. Give it a shot but don't expect a 5 star restaurant.

Located at casco viejo, went with the company to have a happy hour. The waiter gave us suggestions and had recommendations. A charming place in my favorite spot of panama.

Definitely try the ropa vieja, it's delicious and very well served. The staff were friendly but in the end we spent almost 50usd for two dishes and two drinks.

I was walking through Casco Viejo and looking at the different menus of the restaurants and we saw this one that was very varied and went in. The menu has really everything so I think anyone can enjoy it. I had a club sandwich and it was delish! My bf had a burger and he loved the meat and the flavour, it was very good. We had french fries and onion rings and both were crispy but not greasy. Cold beers, everything was good. Our server was very attentive but not pushy. I want to come back and try different offerings. One low point was, that I saw another server taking care of a family of 3 (mother, father and young kid) and she was talking to them and as soon as group of young men popped their head in, she just stopped talking to them and went out to take care of the other group (the family was inside the others outside). She sat them, gave them menus and then came back to keep talking to the family who were just flabbergasted. If it would have been me that was treated this way, I would have stood up and left. There was no need to keep that family hanging specially because there was another server outside taking care of people. That was the bad thing that left me a bit mad, but I had already finished my food and was leaving when I saw this.
