Brazas - Panama City

If you want flavorful and tender meat, good drinks and a chill vibe, Brazas is the place.

We went to Brazas restaurant, in San Francisco Panama City, 3 times while we stayed at the Aloft hotel. It is a short walk from Aloft, and the meals are excellent! This restaurant has asado (bbq) and other Venezuelan favorites. The first night we ate there we had picada which is an assortment of bbq chicken, beef and sausage with a side of yuca (cassava) fries. The seasoning on the meat was amazing, the yuca fries were done just right and they had a 2 for 1 special on passion fruit margaritas! How can you go wrong? We also ate a light lunch with cachapas (corn soft shell with cheese inside) that was extremely tasty. I had a papaya smoothie that was made from scratch as is all their juices, no powder mixes here! The service was top notch, one of the owners served us herself. The food was ready in a reasonable time. This restaurant is pet friendly. I highly recommend Brazas restaurant if you are staying in Panama City.

I went there three times, each time was good, positive attitude, delicious food good portion size, price value balanced for the district. It's not a luxury restaurant, it's a kind of container restaurant. I would go back again and again if I'm near there.

Went for karaoke night. Was fun. I didn't stay long but beers are cold and well priced. I assume you can sing any time of song but this night was only Spanish songs being sang.

The food was good. Will hit it up again.
