Jaali Boutique and Cafe - Palolem

The caffe is beautiful and welcoming....food and drinks are beautiful with international taste. it was so sweet to have miss chandana, which served us with great care. ambiente are lighter and soothing and the rest of the staff is also very pleasant.

Typical Instagram place with no real food , just some snail things to try here and there . Too expensive , if you are hungry this is not the place , at least if you don’t want to spent 40€ minimum to have a good...amount of food x2. Too much hype !

We were hungry and wanted have our dinner, close to our stay.. so we walked in to jaali boutique and cafe. Around 8.20pm, it was raining, we quickly parked our car and walked inside the restaurant. And we saw half the restaurant was empty. We...were just about to grab the chair.. one of the staff walks towards us and told us, they don’t allow walk in guest, as they have reservation policy and the restaurant is full. Without even showing minimum curtesy as it was raining. It’s was clear they did not wanted Indians in they restaurant, Sad to see that we still have places in India, we’re people are judge by they colour.

Go early as it fills up pretty fast. The place is open and airy and faces the sea. The food is good, interesting and portions large. The staff is accommodating and friendly, Service is pretty quick. Ideal place to have morning breakfast.

We ordered 6 different smaller plates at dinner, and every single one of them was fantastic. Our only regret was not starving ourselves enough to try more of the smaller plates. Bummed about their homemade ice creams, but we got a chocolate almond orange tart to...go that turned out to be amazing the next morning after breakfast. 12/10 to the bartender who converted our Raspberry Lemonade Slushie into a vodka cocktail. Most things are locally sourced, and their 10% service charge is shared among the staff should tip more if you feel the service is good (we did) Also PSA, please do ignore the idiot who gave them low ratings complaining about price. Dhaabe par paranthe khaane ki aadat hogi usko.
