Rancho 86 Restaurant Bar - Palo Verde

Just driving through from El Centro. Stop for a bite to eat food. Not too bad. Don't drink the water. Service excellent

We were off-roading for Tierra Del Sol and needed real food. Not many options in Salton but luckily we turned off the highway to find Rancho 86z. We had a wonderful experience here. The steak was great and it was a great vibe with Mexican soccer on TV. Very kid friendly.

It's lost there...at first it reminds you a little of From Dusk till Dawn...but it's clean, the owner is very nice and sweet and the food, unexpectedly, very good. We had chicken quesadilla and a BBQ cheeseburger and two Budweisers. Furthermore, incredibly cheap at $18 per person and they were very decent portions! So if you appreciate good Mexican cuisine, a friendly host and reasonable prices and are frugal when it comes to ambience, this is the place for you!

Great food and great service for just one guy that was working. I highly recommend and make sure you tip well. ?

Be careful with what you eat in this place, I bought pizza and they sold it to me raw, I ordered vegetables and they taste horrible like freezer food, this is not Authentic Mexican food as they say, be careful
