Bidrage med feedbackThey introduced me to Pad Thai for the first time and I loved it. Their wonton soup is not the typical pre-packaged variety with artificial yellow dye, and the unique vegetables they use are delicious. I appreciated the personal touch of being addressed by name when placing my order. The curries are consistently delicious. The only disappointment was the Pandan-infused mango sticky rice, which was made with broken rice instead of the usual sticky rice. Despite this, everything else about the restaurant is fantastic. It's just a shame that one aspect stands out as a negative.
The staff was friendly, and the service was good. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was between $1-10. The food was rated a 4 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 5 out of 5.
Reliable and delicious Thai cuisine! The vegetarian choices are excellent. Delivery service for dinner at a price range of $20-30 per person. The food and service both receive a rating of 5. Highly recommend trying the Pad Thai.
The Delaware River town of Palmyra, NJ, has several interesting attractions, as well as decent restaurants, including Kaffir Thai on Broad Street right across the street from a light rail stop. While it is no longer a sit down dining room, the food remains good enough to be worth a takeout visit. Just beware to check the time it is open, as it varies, and on Saturday it opens at 4 p.m. I was in the mood for a rainy day drive and Thai cuisine (read, Drunken Noodles, Thai Spicy), and chose Palmyra as a worthy destination less than 40 minutes from home in Bucks. I sat at one of two tables in the house, deciding to start my meal there while hot from the wok, and take the balance home for later consumption. I also went for Tom Kha, spicy coconut milk veggie soup so to sample more than just one dish. The soup was scalding hot, but cooled in the spoon enough to allow me to slurp comfortably without burn. Lots of vegetables and semi sweetness from the coconut milk. Liked it, but perhaps a little less lemongrass would have made it closer to the traditional flavor. The Pad Kee Moo (Drunkens), used a semi-wide noodles, rather than the expected ultra-wides, meaning less surface area to grasp the hot brown sauce. There was plenty of thin sliced chicken, red/green peppers, onion, mushroom l, tomato and baby corn, and I liked the flavor, but would have been more maximal with large pasta and perhaps some carrots to add texture and some sweetness. Service was decent for a takeout joint, but as I mentioned I would be eating at their table, it would have been a plus had they served me as such, rather than in a takeaway bag. 3.5 Stars
Fresh, wonderful flavors and easy pick up. I highly recommend any of the curries and spring rolls!
