What a total waste of money and time, firstly its very horrible when you dine in as all the take away people keep walking in and out. My wife and I eat out twice a week and thought we would try Il capo. My wife had the spagbol and I had the meat lovers pizza, we always rate our meals from 1 to 10 and my wife gave her meal a 3, its one of the easiest meals to cook and they could not get it right, my pizza started of on an 8 but as soon as the tremendous burn started coming in it dropped to a 3.5, it was so hot that I could not even eat it and whats worse is we ordered a pizza bread for a starter and it came with the mains. I should have demanded a refund as the food was unedible. I got my pizza put in a box only to feed the chicken that has been dumped on the Pahiatua track, I am sure the chicken also complained. A burger from BKs would have been better. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

I have been here multiple times because my partner loves it here but I cannot stand the food. I have tried the il capo pizza, bushman pizza, hawaiian pizza, creamy chicken fettucini, spag bol and lasagne and they were all awful. I gave several meals a chance and have tried a decent range of their food over the last two years and it is just not nice. I guess this is one of those places either you love it or hate it.
