Raven's Perch At Knik River Lodge

Beautiful views and it was not busy so we were seated early. One meal was delicious and the other so-so. Our waiter was very attentive.

Raven’s perch has a beautiful environment and a great view of the knik river and the surrounding mountains above all on the deck. there is also a small bar in the dining room. service was quite fast and eating was good, especially for the place that is very distant. for the only restaurant in front of location it is not a bad choice. lachs was tasty and salad fresh.

5 of us ate dinner together with a good selection of the menu ordered. I had the steak that was cooked to a very good medium, rarely as ordered, and the coffee rack was good, but not too exaggerated. the daily sweet was served as spade along the kartoffels. the only commentary each on the table is that several items were very under the season. the potatoes of the mais needed salt added terrible, the spatula was cooked with garlic, but no other seasoned. we had 2 steaks, the salmon, the scallops and the loaded mac and cheese combined. also eating was very good, but required the season on the table, which was somehow disappointing in view of the type of restaurant and price point of the participants. the personal was great and made a great job during dinner. she was very friendly and knew the menu very well. they could answer and make suggestions if one of our guests had difficulty deciding what to order. we had dinner on 13th juli 2022.

Beautiful property and vista. Restaurant menu solid with popular choices and all Alaskan in selections which was refreshing. The homemade fries were particular yum! The wait times and overworked waitress delayed all, but understandable in current work hire environment. Oh and music playing a fun folksy hit mix.
