We went here for the first time and had lunch. I had the carne asada and chicken street tacos, a side of rice and a side of refried beans. I really enjoyed the street tacos. The rice was pretty good, a little sticky, but it had good flavor. The beans were just Okay. My wife had a bean and cheese burrito which she enjoyed. Our server was very attentive. I may have missed it, but I didn't see combination plates that include beans and rice. If it's not offered, maybe something to consider. 2 tacos, a side of beans and a side of rice I thought was a little pricey, but it is a small, local business. Maybe offer one bowl of chips and salsa as part of a dine-in meal?? Overall, we liked it and we will be back...

Originally from Chula Vista (San Diego) this is the most authentic Mexican food we have had since moving to Colorado in 2021. We tried asada pastor tacos, and the Great Sand Dunes burrito. The tacos were flavorful, meat tense and juicy, two tortillas as is tradition (delicate, but held together well). Their house made salsas are amazing too. Definitely worth stopping by!Thank you Sasquatch for reminding me of home ?

This place is awesome. Four table family run spot with the best spicy palomas around. The couple who runs the restaurant care a lot about their food and it shows. We got a smothered green chile burrito with carnitas and it was rapturous. We had to turn around and order more tacos because it was all so good.

I had tacos and they were amazing. Enjoyed our conversation with the owners well. If you are in Palmer Lake and need so good Mexican this is your place!
