Jake's Palm Springs

Came here for lunch at the restaurant week. Had the watermelon Gazpacho and the soft bowl crab BLT. Both excellent. My husband got the Gazpacho and a turkey BLT... he loved him. He had a cactus pear margarita and I had the spicy pine margarita. I prefer his...mine was too sharp and I love heat. We'll be back. Beautiful outdoor terrace and staff were very attentive. While we didn't order dessert, the table was next to us. OMG.. This piece of cake could serve 4 easily! First visit, as the restaurant has changed hands. Had one of the new owners Scott. Very friendly and attentive. The food was very good overall. My scallops were wonderful, but the accompanying rice was dry and could have benefited if they had placed some of the pan juices. My friend said her NY Steak with Pommes was very embarrassing and would be described more precisely than Au Poive. My other disappointment is that we sit back where our view was on the parking lot. Not very atmospheric. Overall the restaurant had a nice crowd and was very energetic.

A great place to meet and have a nice dinner. Many outdoor seating places, and enjoys that they need masks and vaccinated card to eat. My sea bass was great! Also unexpected treats appeared before our meal was served... Same after dinner. They're the little things that make the food a special treat and they're meeting the right rope.
