Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Palm Springs

Had dinner in Palm Springs last night. Food was great, real comfort eating. And the staff was great. They were friendly, efficient and seemed good to be hosts. Thank you.

I had the brisket, pork ribs Spicy sausage. Brisket was soooo good and tender. And baby girl had the children's meal.. Did I mention it was free? Because children eat for free on Sundays? I didn't know until I got there. Score!

These are the best colonies in the valley. Great staff and good food. They really seem to care about the customers and were very COVID-compliant since the first day, they were allowed to open again. This dry BBQ will be improved by the sauce, so be safe and add some. The okra is a specialty and hard to find so that we really enjoy it! Although it has now gone the way of COVID and I doubt that they will ever bring the ice machine back, but that was also really great!

The food is good but the portions are not, for the price point. I will still eat there though.

Chicken and turkey tasted like processed meat. Yuk. Sides just ok. Pork ribs looked like best thing on menu. No beef ribs. Phil's BBQ in San Diego County, now That's Bbq, Dickeys could learn from them.
