Schnitzelhaus - Palm Desert

This is the best place to get German food throughout the Coachella valley. I lived in Germany for five years with Cologne. The owners are absolutely fantastic and friendly. We always get the scavenger style and it is absolutely delicious. It is nice to come to this place and to know that the ambience, food and service Germany brings to the valley here! Don't miss this!

I'm a big fan of authentic German dishes, but it's hard to find without the shows and hoopla....I just want great German dishes. From the moment we went to the door, I knew this place was what I was looking for. Thick German accents from the guests, cute carved pine chairs and long family tables and then the beautiful smell of German food penetrated the room. We were greeted happily by three family members. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of a dry German Riesling wine with the most amazing authentic German Brezel and I consider myself a Brezel Kenner. A bottling salad and then a split plate of delicious sorrows. The ambience is cozy and comfortable, the food is delicious and the family staff is wonderful. Please visit us. They won't be disappointed.

It is amazing to find inside and authentic in a hard way. Food is on site, beer is cold. A great stop on the way to the beach. The access to the motorway is also the key - although I live in AZ, I make sure everyone stops and brings a few tents on the way back!

What a wonderful place! Service is friendly, beer is plentiful and the food is delicious! I highly recommend starting with the soft pulp! It was so good that I don't have a picture!
