la spiga italiano - Palm Desert

We made a reservation about 5 hours in advance and were greeted warmly on the phone and in person. The valet opened both our car doors and the restaurant doors for us. The staff was incredibly friendly, informative, and polite. We tried some wines from the glass menu and our server, Miguel, was attentive and quick to assist us. The antipasti and primi we ordered were served at the table on the patio we had reserved. The patio was cozy and warm with heat lamps, as requested when making the reservation. Despite the restaurant closing, they allowed us to enjoy our dessert, tiramisu and cannoli with cappuccinos by the outdoor fireplace. The food was delicious, the atmosphere romantic, and the sounds of opera music in the background added to the ambiance. This was the best place I've celebrated my birthday and I can't wait to return.

Last night, we had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. We enjoyed dishes such as veal, salmon, seabass, lobster, and black caviar. If you prefer not to have vodka in your cocktails, they offer gin as an alternative. They also have a fantastic wine selection. The staff is very attentive; they even call to confirm reservations the day before. They also offer valet parking on site. We will definitely be returning for more amazing meals in the desert.

We just tried Togo tonight. Our First Visit to La Spiga. Wonderful meal. Spaghetti Bolognese was a 10. Loved it, loved It. Veal scallopini with the lemon caper sauce was excellent Paper thin veal. And....perfectly cooked for a Togo order. A very difficult challenge...so hats off to the chef ! And the Biscotti was the best we ever. YUM. Called to place order. We showed up 20 mins later. They brought the food out curbside to the car masked and gloved ! Perfect. Oh and their bread. So good. Can’t wait to go back when they open to try their outdoor dining.

A special occasion restaurant in an area that has a lot of restaurants but few relaxing dining experiences. We've been a few times, and the food has always been excellent. The patio is beautiful. The service is attentive and warm. Hard to get a reservation in season.

Decent meal and service, however for the prices it should have been spectacular. The side dish of spaghetti with lemon and garlic was cooked to perfection.
