Bidrage med feedbackThe portions were very large for the cost of meal. It was nice to see and even help John over the entire process. it is definitely a place that the locals enjoy. The service I will give on this visit was missing and why not a 5 star.
Good diner. Fast and friendly service. Free coffee refills with my breakfast. A little pricy, but that's all right now. $16 for my breakfast with coffee. Fried potatoes, eggs, vegetables with a ton of cheese. It was a HUGE share so you might share your meal? That's what I'm doing next time.
Very delicious and fast. Great place for breakfast and decent prices.
First visit to Johns this morning. Great and affordable breakfast Togo. Excellent portion sizes. Crispy hashbrowns. Loved the English muffin and the breakfast sausage eggs cooked perfectly (especially to survive the car ride at home) Breakfast Burrito grilled on the outside always a good movement. We'll be back.
I've been going to John since they opened almost 30 years ago. Huge selection of foods at reasonable prices. But with what is said, the food was good, but not as it was used. We went to dinner and ordered a gyro and a steak sandwich and fried zucchini. The gyro was very simple and lacked the taste is use to once. It was 2 thin pieces of meat, 2 slices of tomatoes, onion and yogurt sauce. It was not bad, but not the point where you would say I will be back for it. That's something John always was. The steak sandwich was good. The tomatoes on the sandwich looked like they were cooking with the steak. The role that the steak was up, soggy and shattered in 1000 island dressing. The steak was perfectly cooked and tasted great by itself, but lubricated with the other ingredients made it sharp as unforgettable. The zucchiniries were massive. We ordered the big one and were quite surprised by the crowd we got. The zucchini fell short in the taste category. They were hot and freshly cooked, crispy to perfection, but lack of salt or other spices. It was good, but it missed the sign. I will continue to go John 's because it is still good, but it used to be big. I hope they can keep on a good thing and possibly become the great symbol of diner food in the valley.
