Babaloo Lounge - Palm Desert

Our server started well, but didn't end so well. the volume of live entertainment was much too loud to enjoy dinner. most thought you'd just be okay would not order again.

We lived in miami 32 years and miss Cuban food. we are always looking for Cuban restaurants wherever we travel. this is as good as the best in little havana. the lechon asado and the maduros were perfect. I wish we had another chance to eat this trip there. but next time we visit the opposite we will be back without doubt. maybe they will add vaca frita, my favourite menu!

I had really hoped that this would be the Cuban Peruvian experience of the valley needs. Unfortunately it wasn't. the selection of food was so,so and did not reflect the variety of food available in these regions. the drinks we fine but not acceptable with $15. there are so many important compromises that these two countries have and I regret that none were present. service was good by chris. its support team still needs training. I know that restaurants are not under the weapon to get personal. but I must be fair with the other points of my review.

I expected the motown dj and was told that he will be in the following night. I decided to stay and have dinner while I checked out the band. I was pleasantly surprised as they were very good and my date and I was the biggest part of the night dancing.

Great service, food and music! An enjoyable evening.
