Salamino Pane Vino - Palermo

When we are traveling, we are always afraid of being disappointed by the place where we eat, afraid of not having the right products, that it is too expensive and that we will be taken over like tourists.. .on the other hand when we find a place that we like, we are so happy that we want to make it our new home, and so we went there twice during our 48 hours in Palermo. We were welcomed warmly but without pretense, the menu is in Italian only (a very good sign . Each time we tasted an aperitif board with quality products and a pinsa , a generous warm bread decorated with delicious things (among others one with prosciutto cooked with mature cheese and a pistachio pesto to die for . For dessert, a cassata (sweet ricotta cake still warm.. a marvel.. Well done e grazie!
