Curry House - Pájara

This is a tiny German fast food place serving mainly sausages etc. Menu on blackboard means exactly what it says 3 euros for a sausage (eg large bratwurst) means just that it you want anything else with it order it otherwise it's just a lonely sausage on a plate.. We loved the potato salad and the tomato salad was freshly prepared for us. Takeaway or eat at the tables outside.

After a days outing being tired and hungry we just wanted a simple dinner. The curry house looked the ideal venue. We arrived around 6:30 on Saturday to find we were the only customers. Great as this gave us specific attention. The waiter/ chef was very friendly and helpful mind being German and us English we couldn’t understand each other. After interesting negotiation we ended up with two generous glasses of white wine at only 3 Euro’s per glass. Then came a huge plate of salad after which followed a very generous sized Schnitzel and a curry bratwurst with fritz. The fritz were cooked well the curry bratwurst not so good but Schnitzel was great. Total cost was 24.90 euros which was reasonable. Setting and location was very basic on street by car park. It was a fast food type place. In all a positive visit if you are not wanting a posh type meal. Basically good value for money. We would go back again possibly order a bit less.

Went there 2 weeks ago. 2 Drinks , tropical-lemon ordered was delivered in cans with no ice €1.80 each. Exact can at Spar , which I think where this came from is €0,47 c...No problem , in fuerteventura's heat , ice might be a good idea.. Now , food.. Fricadellen €1.70 , only 1 on plate , a little bigger than a 50 c piece!!!No salad , nothing. Asked for chips to have at least something on my plate. 2.30 for about 15 small pieces..€4.00 for 1 small fricadell meatball) and chips!! Asked for a portion curry wurst , to bulk it up a bit.. €3.00 I got something rubbery from a microwave which after one bite was then left untouched!! €7.00 for what can only be describe as a very bad experience.
