Our server was very attentive and friendly full menu at the bar booths ?

Vegetarian options: This is not really a restaurant for vegetarians. Meat is the focus of the menu. Kid-friendliness: We went in the late evening and sat at the bar without kids. Could see that this is a very kid-friendly place with a Little Wranglers menu.

We were there three weeks ago, on a week night at 6:30 PM. The salad bar was empty for most items. There was a very large family birthday group. You 'd think the waitstaff would be more responsive than oh, it was full earlier then do nothing about it. ? We were in town for a month but never went back or recommended it to others.

Waiters long dirty nails and filthy dirty jeans is not very appealing in a food place!

Amazing little restaurant. We showed up an hour before closing, something we try not to do, but apparently everything in Pagosa closes at 9 pm on a Friday. They were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. We had the surf turf, and the cowboy cut prime rib. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was excellent. The prime rib was more medium than medium rare. However, it's also smoked. The smoked prime rib adds a whole different level to the food. We ate at the bar, and the highlight of the evening was Steve. He was the bartender. He made the night extremely enjoyable. He was amiable and fun. Boss Hogg is definitely worth the visit. We will come back for sure!
