Rick Stein's Seafood Fishmongers

Amazing fish and chips. had the squid and some of the best fish and chips I had in Britain.

You see, I love sea food, especially oysters. The Portophilly ones that they have fresh that day, you can see where from directly over the estuary. It's reasonably priced and a must before you set off back down the trail

Staff in here are very helpful and friendly. We only stopped for coffee and a cake, which was a pretty good deal at £4 before 12.00 pm. Both were excellent, clearly showing that Rick Stein’s culinary attention to detail is applied to everything he sells. There was of course a great selection of wet fish for sale, together with live Crab and Lobster tanks. Top marks for atmosphere and decor too. Recommended.

Great fish chips served with minimal delay complete with wooden knife and fork. A perfect take away experience

The haddock and chips here are amazing! The batter is slightly hidden and the chips are thick, especially when paired with malt vinegar. A must-try!
