The Monarch Pub And - Pacific Grove

We stopped in for a refreshment and a snack. Expansive patio. Despite arriving at shift change the service was quite good. We order the calamari 4.5/5 and fried artichoke 4.5/5. Both very good and large portions. Good beer, wine, and cocktail options.

Fun place. Delicious food, great staff, relaxed environment. An easy choice if you’re looking for a casual meal in Pacific Grove. Also the perfect place to just have some appetizers and drinks if you need to kill some time on a lazy afternoon.

It a spacious eatery with indoor/outdoor seating. Staff is very attentive and friendly. The menu has some good pub items!

Fun spot, friendly vibes, more local feel than some places. Outdoor area was nice. Kitchen is tiny, but it was fun to see them working the space.

Fresh ingredients, cold beer mixed with great service in a Pub atmosphere makes for a great dining experience. The batter was thin and crispy on both the fish and prawns and the mushy peas were the perfect consistency served nice and hot.
