Xahar Thai - Ozone Park

My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem on Atlantic Ave. Despite having our two children with us, the atmosphere was perfect for a family meal. The restaurant was clean and well-organized. We enjoyed our meal, which included tom yum soup, chicken fingers, lamb, and Xahar roasted rice. The vegetable spring rolls were also a hit. We would definitely return to satisfy our craving for Thai food.

The first time there on 11/5/15 and my wife and I loved the food. There is no alcohol that is served as the place is Halal, but we don't mind. Staff are attentive and prices are reasonable. The bill was under $50.00 with 2 deserts and coffee. Will definitely go back.

After reading both positive and negative reviews, I decided to make the drive to this restaurant. Upon arrival, I found the place to be warm and cozy. I have nothing negative to say about it. I particularly enjoyed the chicken lollipops and the Xahar fried rice, which contained a delicious mixture of shrimp, chicken, and beef. To top it off, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert. I will definitely be returning with friends in the future.
