The Britannia Inn - Oxford

Decent enough pub that serves a good guinness. I didn't eat here, so I can't say anything about eating. I will say that at 1:15 a.m. on Monday the pub was pretty busy and eating was a 45-minute waiting. the beer garden is pleasant enough.

We had a wonderful evening here for birthday. it was a bit of a last minute booking and I was worried we didn't come in as it was a Friday night. the food was great and although the staff was torn from the feet, we were all very friendly and friendly. we come here regularly as my man is vegan and they always have a good variety to choose for him and is always good quality, well prepared and presented. the employees are always helpful, friendly and welcome, they are all a credit to the company.

I had a table for me and my dancing booked. she had some hardships to manage the steps in the place, but once in us was in order. we saw a lively fire function and the table was clean. we had both fish and chips. the fish was well boiled and the teig was not too hard. I also liked the lemon wedge. the personal was attentive and friendly. a pleasant lunch.

We came for a late lunch and it was a really great experience! was a great atmosphere, beautiful and chilled, sitting outside with heating was the eating nice! we had amazing service of luke, nothing was too much effort for him, he also recognized my partner plate looked naked (Fussy-Esser and took out a lot of extras) and offered additional options for him. would recommend in any case! thanks for a nice lunch!

Staff were lovely and friendly. Food tastes nice. Roast potatoes not crispy, asked if I wanted sauce and then didn't bring it. Chips slightly under done. Pork was beautiful but no crackling. Definitely not a bad place to eat. Will go again.
