Bidrage med feedbackI visited La Baguette for the second time, having previously enjoyed a panini before getting my first tattoo. This is not just my favorite restaurant in Oxford, but my favorite in the entire universe. The selection of paninis and toasted ciabattas is excellent, with generous and delicious fillings. The deal for a panini, drink, and crisps for only £5.50 is a great value in my opinion, earning a 3/4 on my personal scale. Although our overall visit scored a 2.9 on willabel.com, falling behind Nandos and Caprinos, the 20-minute drive and parking challenges affected the accessibility rating. Despite this, I had more fun and joy in my short 5-minute visit here than anywhere else in Oxford. I highly recommend it as a must-visit for tourists, as it surpasses the castle, university, and library. Where else can you enjoy a delicious Greek sausage and mozzarella panini? The staff also did a great job promoting social distancing and all packaging was recyclable. In short, I dream of getting married in this shop and sharing a warm panini, Fanta fruit twist, and bag of Cheetos with my life partner. Stay safe and love yourselves. Peace x
The best panini in Oxford! I tried the bacon, cheese, and pesto panini and it did not disappoint. The meal deal with a drink and crisps is great value. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, tasty, and affordable lunch in Oxford. Absolutely delicious.
I used to come to this restaurant frequently when I was working in town. The prices are reasonable and the tuna baguettes are delicious, with generous fillings! The staff are friendly, engaging in conversation and remembering my order even after not visiting for months.
Tuna melt. Easy right? Tuna cheese Cook it... so it melts? Its in the name right! Not here. Way too much tuna. A pathetic sprinkling of cheese. That didn't even melt! C'mon guys you're a baguette shop!
Desperate for a coffee, I passed by Costa on a hot afternoon in Oxford and it was heaving so I gave it a miss. (Never been a great fan of the usual chain coffee shops anyway. Just around the corner in a small back street near Argos, I spotted this little sandwich, baguette and panini bar. Filled baguettes were changing hands fast obviously it's popular and they looked delicious. The coffee was absolutely lovely strong but not bitter. It was the best coffee I've ever had in Oxford and one of the best takeaway coffees I've had ANYwhere. And the price ! £1.60! I could hardly believe what a bargain that is, for a large decent coffee in ruinously expensive touristy Oxford. Recommended!
