Bidrage med feedbackDear Boswells Caf in Templars Square. An English lady (Gerente)I am from Oxford and for many years I go to Boswells Caf in Templars Square to have a coffee and eat something. For years I have been watching the staff of this coffee and I must say that they are all very friendly and respectful with the customers. I have also observed that many different employees have worked in that place and few, very few remain there longer than most others. Today I went there once again, as usual, to have a coffee and something to eat and an English lady, who is the manager (I guess, since many other managers have also worked there and left) and was asking people to queue if some wanted something to eat, but not only this, I also told people that we had to cover our faces there for security reasons. Well, I absolutely agree with this measure and I covered my face. However, she was preparing the food for the customers, but she was not using any kind of facial cover, and again came and began to tell people to use the face cover, I got a little upset to see that she wanted everyone in the tail to wear covering her face but herself, although she was preparing the food for the customers, she was NOT wearing it. Then I asked him: Excuse me, where is yours? (I said) Mine in the back. (she said) You should also use one, is asking people to cover their faces but are not using it, and is preparing food for customers. I don't have to use one. (she said) Well, according to you, we have to cover our faces for safety and is preparing the food and tells me it is not necessary. (I said)Then, she got angry and just went to the back of the coffee.I think this lady (the manager, who was pretty rude and working there for a few months) should be the first to give an example to all the others, customers and staff, that we have to use a facial cover to protect us, as she said. I checked if the others (staff members) used something to protect themselves, and ALL of them, all the members of the cafeteria staff used a face cover or facial protectors. But this angry, rude lady who is the coffee manager said she didn't have to.I was so upset that I couldn't stay for my coffee and eat something as usual. Especially when I saw that lady preparing food without covering her face or without facial protector and saying she doesn't have to. I had to leave the coffee I've enjoyed for many years and look for another place to have my coffee and something to eat, where I could feel more protected from any virus. If that lady (the manager) has any viruses, she may be spreading it all over the coffee and among other people. What a shame, a beautiful place to take something and eat, especially now with the restrictions imposed, and the manager who was preparing the food for the customers says he doesn't have to put anything on.That's my complaint and I hope some measures are taken. cordial greetings, W. Does a very good range of breakfasts reasonably priced. Also good range of other meals and cakes. Ice creams flavour coffees etc.Set in the centre of shopping centre under large sale type umbrellas.
Ok for a quick coffee, rather noisy and busy, this may have been due to the high number of festive shoppers. The vacated tables could have been cleared quicker, although in fairness, I only counted two visible members of staff.I didn't stop for coffee as the queue was rather long.
This restaurant is more like a typical diner, especially for breakfast. The service is usually excellent and the food is always cooked perfectly. It's one of our top choices for breakfast.
The food was terrible, my husband had a great breakfast, the bacon was as well prepared as the carton. The beans were cold and the sausages had spices. We ordered coffee with milk, but coffee is so strong that it was more like an espresso with some milk. It was quitting because of what we had.
