Lula's Louisiana Cookhouse - Owosso

I regret that I never had the opportunity to taste the food at Lula's. Despite living in Owosso since 2012, I never made it to Lula's. It saddens me that I will never have the chance to try their dishes.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed due to a devastating early morning fire on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

The food is tasty but by no means cajun, but if you've never eaten true creole or cajun food then you be your own judge, but I was raised on creole and I cook nothing but cajun and for me it was a disappointment.

Not real Louisiana cooking. My wife is from Louisiana and she cooks real Louisiana food for me and this restaurant didn't come close to Louisiana creole food! And the online menu is different than the one they hand you at the table.
