Burg Barrel Leawood - Overland Park

Th food was great! Had a reservation at 7 and was seated around 7:30. The music was so loud that everyone had to talk loud just to hear each other. Would recommend, but not at 7 on a Friday night.

This place is the perfect go to when looking for a place to go for a burger with the kids. Not too packed and the food was exactly what I hoped for.

We have always gone here for a good meal not this time. First of all we had a reservation all that did was put us first in a long line of people waiting. That was not clear when we made the reservation. The beer ordered was not the correct one even though they insisted that it was. Once we questioned it they did admit that they had changed the keg and we were correct. The food was not good. The French fries were cold. My chicken wrap was more breading on the chicken than chicken and I asked for sauce on the side but but it came on the sandwich. The fish and chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. The onion rings were soggy and greasy and when examining them you could see raw flour on the inside. All in all the only good thing was one of our friends hamburger. We have always liked the food was very disappointed.

The restaurant was nearly empty when we visited but we were surprised to know it was burger night. Two of us ordered burgers and the third ordered a salad. We all enjoyed our meals and appreciated the attentiveness of our server.

Good food. Good service. Good prices. Overall a positive experience.
