Very nice little Portuguese restaurant in Greyton. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. I had the creamy garlic mussels. The source was so nice that I had to ask for another Portuguese roll. My husband had the Cajun calamari and chips. He loved it. Very well priced, we will definitely be back.

We eat out Portuguese restaurants regularly, as restaurants of choice. We were very happy so discover a “Portuguese” restaurant in Greyton. The food, however, was inedible and was in no way Portuguese. The peri-peri chicken had no spice and flavour, and had nothing peri peri about it whatsoever. Upon complaint, the chef’s recommendation was to use a spicy tomato sauce. The house steak was tough and not enjoyable. The restaurant had no extraction, meaning that the door had to be left open on a very cold evening. Very disappointing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 150–200

Service, ambience, food, altogether experience fantastic. It was an unforgettable and intimate dinner at Silvano’s in a group that showed us the beauty in supporting independent restaurants and the value that you find within : xx
