I don't enjoy giving bad reviews but the food for me was not good : I was craving middle eastern food for dinner and I was in the area .. as I walked in I didn't smell anything.. so nothing was being cooked freshEverything I ate had a acidic taste to it .. It was sour and not great.. the food itself didn't look fresh but I felt bad as I ordered it blindly ... the place looks super tired. There was no one in the resto and I felt The big red flag...Ughh it kills me to give a bad review because the service was amazing and the staff were super friendly and caring unfortunately the food was below zero : I do believe in the truth and maybe they can take this as constructive criticism.. hopefully and improve I hopeThe feta cheese/ spinach dish was so sour and a bit burnt i took one bite and that was it.. my veggie plate was dry and unappetizing.. the rice tasted old The only good thing was the hummus and garlic sauceOtherwise, everything felt inedible and I was sad I wasted 40$ on these 2 items : Don't think I'll be back here :

I’m reluctant to review this place because I don’t want this secret to get out. But… This place has the best fried chicken in Ottawa. I don’t go here for shawarma, I go for the chicken. It was all by accident. Went to little Cesar’s for quick pizza for lunch but saw they had fried chicken. I love my fried chicken. I will always try fried chicken. I’ve tried every fried chicken place in Ottawa. I’ve read reviews and I can honestly say this is the best.Has a great crunch, the flavour is very good but not overpowering in any particular spice. It’s well balanced. It’s made fresh. It takes 20 minutes but we’ll worth it cause it’s fresh. The breast was a juicy as the the thigh. Every person that has tried it agrees with me that it’s the best.I haven’t tried the shawarma or anything else so I can’t comment on the other food. Fries are generic but need salt. Gravy is ok but again I go just for the chicken.

Yes same a other reviews. Used to be good but now it smells bad when you walk in and looks filthy. I really hope the owner reads this and hires a cleaner. And throw everything out that's expired.

I bought chicken shawarma sandwich $7.99 and small poutine $7.99. Both were not good. It didn’t have any flavour. It tasted like old reheated meat. Will not recommend this place.
