The Merry Dairy - Ottawa

I was so excited when I saw the no sugar added (NSA) ice cream as I usually find it too sweet sadly it 's DIET ICE CREAM!!!! It 's sweeter than ever!!!!! I 'm so disappointed especially the vanilla....it 's SICKLY sweet because they use sweetener replacement and the flavour is wrong....the regular vanilla is far better. The chocolate is ok, but still too sweet.Edit I ordered the ice cream online and picked it up at the window what I wished was to return it as I spent $20 on ice cream tubs that I really didn 't like, but I suppose it 's my fault for taking the NSA label litterally? I think the name should be changed! at the very least it should say prominently calorie reduced/fewer calories

Ice cream tastes so good. serving was enough and price is reasonable. i like also the ambiance of the place.

I tried Merry Dairy last summer and remembered it being AMAZING so when my mom came to visit me this week we decided to go back after noticing the gluten free options (she’s celiac). WOW! She got coffee chocolate with hot fudge and said she’d give it 11/10 stars if she could. I just got the chocolate with sprinkles and it was okay. It had a weird dryness to it so I wish I tried one of their other more exciting flavours. my mom loved it though and I appreciated how the toppings were given in generous amounts. My mom loves hot fudge and said this was the best, more true to chocolate fudge she’s ever had. You couldn’t even tell that the coffee flavour was vegan. Regardless of my experience, the quality of the ice cream was apparent and the price was reasonable.

Amazing ice cream for any occasion. My go-to now for ice cream cakes on my birthday. Always amazing service and never had anything there I didn't love.
