Tamis Cafe - Ottawa

I'm just gonna come right out and say this, Tamis cafe is the one place I would love to have next door. The place I'd go to on most days of the week, to grab a coffee to kickstart my morning, or to hang out and read a good book or to just have a cozy with a gastronomic delight of a rendezvous with friends or family. I still have to try out all the menu though. Oh! the stir-fried noodles is a must-try. BTW, me and my family did have an excellent experience here. The owner/chef, Lisa, was a delight as well. And I meant amicable and so were the staff.

I had a great experience at Tamis Cafe for my first visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and the ambiance was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. My wife enjoyed the Tapsilog and I had the chicken adobo, both of which were well prepared. For dessert, I tried the Halo Halo which was not overly sweet and very enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I also purchased a matcha green oreo cheesecake and some coconut macaroons to take home, and they were absolutely delicious. Wow is all I can say when it comes to their pastries.

My 3 friends and I had the best lunch ever at Tamis last Saturday. The staff were so sweet and friendly. The beef mechado was divine and my friends enjoyed their chicken dishes. Mango cheesecake was awesome. They have a beautiful selection of fine teas which are served piping hot in a teapot. My friends has fancy cappuccinos which they were thoroughly impressed with. I am looking for opportunities to return to Tamis!

My new favorite place to eat Filipino food. For sure I'm coming back. The food is wonderfully great.

Chicken Adoboooooooooooooooo!!!!! My wife and father-in-law have come twice already and I've been dying to come. I'm so happy I got the chance to stop in today. I had the chicken adobo. It was amazing! Cassava Cake for dessert and it was delicious, in fact it was the best I've ever had. The family who runs this restaurant are very friendly and great at what they do. Can't wait to go through all the other things on the menu.!
