Sandy Hill Lounge & Grill - Ottawa

This restaurant has become one of our go-to spots for dinner and drinks when we are at an event near the University of Ottawa. It's just a short 10-minute walk away, making it a convenient choice.

This restaurant in Sandyhill is amazing and a must-visit. Forget about FNS, this is the place to be. Even though I live just a minute away, I would definitely choose to come here. The food is homemade and delicious.

I initially came to this restaurant for the burger, but ended up being impressed by the wings! I noticed that Sandy Hill Lounge and Grill was ranked as the second best burger joint in town, right after Baja Burger.

Love almost everything about this place. the staff is great, eating is so good. their specialties are always tasty, especially the rubber bears! mmmm make this toy more often. her side serving spinat is huge at brunch, which is fantastic. there is an unfortunate disadvantage. her coffee. you do everything else sooo well. please buy some good dark roast beans. or a small espresso machine for americanos, I would definitely pay for a better coffee. the current coffee is almost bad enough to ruin the fantastic eating. I'm still back, eating is good enough to switch over to the morning in the week.

What an amazing, authentic local hunt. both the service, the food and the worth are pointed and after my first visit it was clear to me that it would be a regular dinner option. 10$ beer pitcher, a 15$ burger that was the double size of their average pub castle and an amazing series of homemade dipping sauce. it is in the middle of nowhere so they know that it must be good to survive. on random Thursday we went to hopping the place and had luck packing the last table. can not recommend enough!
