Bidrage med feedbackDelicious food and beautiful views! They went both for dinner and brunch (they only offer brunch on the last Sunday of the month not sure if they still do, but I hope that! both visits were excellent! Not to mention the breathtaking view. Drinking was also great. Would definitely go back!
After 2 years not really celebrate our anniversary, we decided to have a very secluded restaurant in the penthouse of a beautiful apartment building on St-Laurent and Dunbarton (Brittany rd). Le St-Laurent is an elegant restaurant, with owner and boss Ryan making some of the most delicious dishes. It uses local and seasonal ingredients to create its menu, and this intimate environment has the most amazing view of the Ottawa Valley, the skyline at sunset was to die and you can see the Gatineau hills. Compliments to the cook to not only make such tasteful dishes, but also to pick up every employee with hand. Our server, Ann, was so sweet and attentive, and the bartender was very friendly and created very delicious cocktails. Now to the dishes and drinks we decided to have a nice Pinot Grigio, later in our meal, we got a few caesars and Sean wanted to taste one of their special cocktails, which tasted like an icy apple cider. For the 2 Entrées we got the roasted mushroom soup, which was so creamy and full of taste, and the beet salad, with small slices of green grapes, beautiful pieces of orange and red beds, Balsamico Dressing, with grilled Hiumi cheese and roasted nuts, this was one of the best beetsalates in Ottawa! For our mains we have the steak and the frits, and the braided beef. The quality in these courts was on the point. The steak was cooked for our pleasure and the crunchy thin pommes were delicious. As far as the short arm is concerned, so easily pulled apart and melted into the mouth, and was accompanied by a delious sauce and charcoal. Our overall experience was fantastic and would like to go back for another delicious beet salad. This is a must! #supportlocal #ottawafoodiestalker
The food is delicious and the ambience is beautiful. Service is usually amazing. I don't know why, but they brought the main dish very late, like 40 minutes after the appetizers. Apart from that, everything was perfect.
First time to this great restaurant and can not wait to go again! We arrived at 5:15 on Saturday night. Started at 5:45. There is no bad place in the restaurant. Everyone can see from the panoramic windows (although we had space directly on the window. You can see to the Gatineau Mountain! Beautiful skyline from Ottawa, too. Two of us had the Cod and Shrimp dish in a broth with corn that was excellent! One of us had the homemade cavatelli pasta with button mushrooms, green peas, rosemary, parmesan and lemon, which was also fantastic! The Gazpacho and the 2 coloured beet salad with tiny picked apples and goat cheese Croquettes were also great appetizers! Great place for special occasions, from the city guests and just to treat yourself!! Not inexpensive, but in the line what it is worth, great food, great views and great service!
Such a wonderful place. Nice service and nice view. The beef short rib and the Québec Rabbit is outstanding. The foie gras is creamy and fresh. The beef tartare with balance control of the taste. Every dish we ordered were delicious and mouthwatering. We are so happy that we choose this restaurant to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary.
