Bowman's Bar & Grill - Ottawa

The Bowman Burger is easily the best burger I've ever tasted. The service is excellent as well. I follow a gluten-free diet, and the staff took extra care to make sure my food was completely free of gluten contamination. I am looking forward to my next visit!

The restaurant has an excellent staff, with owner Peter very involved in daily operations. There is a diverse clientele, including young families, locals, professionals, and hipsters. I have tried most of the menu and have never been disappointed. We recently had the fish and chips and burgers, which were delicious and came in large portions. They also offer a $15 pitcher special on Thursday nights. While the prices are not cheap, the quality, portion sizes, atmosphere, and staff make it worth it.

The food at Bowman's Bar and Grill was excellent. My friend ordered steak and fries, and the fries were done perfectly - caramelized and crispy. I had the steak salsa, which was delicious, but I wish there was more steak considering the higher price. The salsa and corn chips were freshly made. The staff was friendly, cheerful, and helpful without being pretentious. There was a noticeable camaraderie among them. The outside decor was a bit rundown but charming. After our meal, we enjoyed the evening on the terrace without feeling pressured to order more or leave. As an out-of-towner, I will definitely return to Bowman's Bar and Grill next time I am in Ottawa. My friend, who lives in Ottawa, was happy to find a hidden gem close to home. Overall, we had a very pleasant evening.

Absolutely delicious!!! Extremely flavourful! Awesome Hangar steak, fish tacos, Apple pear grill cheese and fish chips,... mmmm guacamole was fantastic!!! Generous portions, super friendly staff! You want a good time with great people, here's the place to go! This is definitely our new hot spot to eat!!
