Bar Robo - Ottawa

I visited this restaurant once, drawn in by the special promotion and a $5 discount voucher. Unfortunately, the chicken sandwich I ordered was disappointingly small and tasted similar to a McDonald's hamburger. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

After being introduced to the Ritual app and receiving a $5 credit, I decided to give Bar Robo a try. I ordered the $7 chicken sandwich, but was disappointed when I received it. The sandwich was tiny, about the size of a McDonald's hamburger, and tasted quite similar with the pickles. In my opinion, it was not a good value for the money. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

Cannot speak for the venue, as I haven't spent long there, although it seems a little small. the staff were friendly and their froot loop donut was great. will come back in any case!

Bar robo kills it for the coffee scene in chinatown. they do a great task to balance the caffe on the day, venue for night balance. they have good quality espresso drinks in European style, the house flair (locally made syrup flavor, real maple and nester. quick chocolate-it works!) they offer a daily sortiment of fresh baked varieties (double cookies, croissants, fresh donuts) as well as sorted light lunches (fruit, breakfast sandwiches etc.) the coffee is high and they have a fabulous rancilio espresso machine that dry out epic drinks. they make coffee, icy, obst loop london dogs and other caffeine type drinks epic good. I am more definitiw from a cafe guest, but they move in the night to a low key bar / music lounge place. great craft beer and apple wine offerings as well as really innovative cocktails with high-end beer flare. the cocktails are fantastic but run in the 10$ plus series. they get what they pay for. the beer and apple wine menu is a great option for the frugally understood. they'll make one like and plan their next coffee meeting here. they are so courteous and without meaning for them look super trendy. Owner/operator is often in front of location and ensures highest care and attention. Band-nights and themed evenings like Dub-stage and karaoke make bar robo one of the few night-life goals on a bit! much fun.

Funky little bar. Visiting Ottawa, staying in china town. Not a lot of coffee shops. This little place does good strong coffee, tea's and a little in house baking croissants and muffins. Turns coffee/wine/spirt bar at night with some very good live music. Nice to...stop in morning and a great drinks spot before of after your meal. Glad I found it. Thanks!
