Avant-Garde Bar & Gift Shop - Ottawa

The bar is owned by Russian immigrant Alexei, who is extremely welcoming. They offer a wide selection of beers and spirits, and host amateur bands at 10 PM. Highly recommended.

The restaurant features live music on weekends and has friendly staff. It's a cozy spot that may not be ideal for larger groups, but perfect for enjoying a drink and catching up with friends. Located across from Les Suites and not far from Novotel.

This restaurant is great for live events and has a unique, quirky atmosphere that is rare to find in the heart of Ottawa. It is family-owned and offers a diverse selection of Eastern European spirits and vodkas. The prices are affordable and they also serve delicious finger foods.

I can't talk for dinner, but the drinks we had were cheap and special. A very good selection of vodka served with one side of cut pimples. The bar itself is quite simple and not flashy. The atmosphere is very...cool nonchalant. My friends, I enjoyed a fabulous night there. Definitely a unique experience you can't find anywhere else in Ottawa. Fun live music.

Only bar in Ottawa that is unique and womderful. An honest bar with great local acts. Good beer selection with Baltika and Steam Whistle and more.
