Ad Mare Seafood Truck - Ottawa

Ad mare is consistently the best local Ottawa food truck! I can always count on a friendly smile from the staff, followed by delicious seafood. my favorite has always got the two taco plates; a fish and a garnel with the delish fries! I also love the cole Slav that comes with the meal. eating is always so fresh and filled with taste.

Hidden gem in canata. excellent seafood! I recommend the crabcake sluts. also the homemade chips are delicious.

Partner suggested we go try this food truck as it's her favorite. I had the two-piece fish and chips special, and we split an order of the cauliflower bites.The cauliflower bites were really good. Not too much batter, and the cauliflower was still a little crispy and crunchy on the inside making it perfect. The Chipotle mayo dip sauce was a perfect addition.The fish and chips was all right. I will start by saying I'm not a big fan of fries, so they're fries are nothing really to write home about. Well cooked. Nicely browned. A little too salty. The fish was really nice. Very nice fresh tasting fish, and the batter had a very delicious flavor to it. Unlike a lot of fast food fish and chips trucks, there wasn't too much batter on the fish which was perfect.The only thing negative that I can say, is that the batter fell off the fish really easily. That could be because it was poorly done, but unlikely. It's a lot more likely because we took the fish home to eat it there.10/10 would recommend, and we plan on going again as they were out of key lime pie and I was told that it's one of their best reasons for going. Might try the po' boy next time.

Had a very yummy lunch here! Prices seemed reasonable and the portion size was good. I think our fave part of our platters were the homemade chips! Definitely something to check out if you happen to be in the area.

Bestfish and chips I have had in Ottawa. Nothing was greasy and perfectly done. Definitely will be back.
