The Cookery Bistro - Ottawa

First time I 've been in the building for ages, but very impressed with the the Cookery.  Delicious 'Pig Fig ' sandwich and huge, scrumptious, date square. Quick, pleasant service with smiles all round made my day! It 's obvious the owners love their work because they do such a terrific job of serving nothing but the best! Certainly no cutting of corners here, and great value for your money, unlike other 'take-out ' lunch services! I WILL BE BACK!

Been looking for a good sandwich place in Kanata for a long time. The cookery sells everything fresh and homemade! Definitely worth checking out!!!

The cookery has the most delicious breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The ingredients are super fresh and everything is home made. The banana bread is great and I adore the pig and fig lunch sandwich. All the coffee is fair trade and terrific.

Small little place tucked in behind you'd almost miss it. Great place to swing in for a soup and sandwich. Delicious, fresh, and inventive combos. Friendly owner/chef, will definitely come back!

The Cookery served a party of 16 for a work function and impressed everyone!Their sandwich and salad platters are healthy and delicious. Not only did their platters satisfy and impress everyone, but the Cookery went above and beyond to cater to the needs of a team member who has a severe dairy allergy. They insured the sandwich would not be cross contaminated, and wrapped it in a separate package for us.Great service, excellent food, and definitely worth a return visit.
