Mr Shawarma - Ottawa

Was in the area and tried Mr. Shawarma for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Quick and friendly service, and the restaurant was clean. The sauce was lacking a bit compared to my usual place, but the shawarma sandwich was stuffed with meat and the spices in the meat definitely made up for the sauce. Good value for your money and good service. :

I have been to this location many times over a long period of time. It has spacious seating area with lots of space to dine in. There hardly was any long wait as there was enough staff available most of my visits. The veggies and meat were always up to par for freshness but my preference that it lacked a lil taste due to being pickled or washed up...such as onion n pickle...but thats no big deal. The taste for its meat shawarma has remained consistently good and comparable but not so much as to add any awe or special factor. The value for the portion is same as every other shawarma locations. If I am hungry I would go to this place but if I want to treat myself to a fine platter than I would perhaps choose another location of my choice. Overall its pretty good. Clean tables as well as recycling garbage can for cans was worth noting. Give it a try if you are around as it will satisfy you for your buck.

We recently ordered a large quantity of food for a party from Mr. Shawarma on Baseline Road and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, fresh and extremely generous in portions. Bilal, one of the managers, was easy to work with and the food was ready on time. My guests loved it. I would highly recommend ordering food from Mr. Shawarma for any event you are having. I have ordered a Chicken Shawarma Family Set twice for work and it was always excellent! I’ve always gotten great service and the store manager even emailed me a receipt since I was silly and forgot to ask and didn’t have time to go back. Definitely will be back again.
