Roasted Cafe - Ottawa

Ordered 1 pancake, 1 bacon and sausage omelette with jalapenos and 1 biscuit and gravy.Pancake tasted homemade it was good, would order it again.Omelette was lacking sausage but had plenty of bacon the jalapenos just need to be sauteed.The biscuits and gravy, never again... I ate two bites and couldn't do anymore. The biscuit was very dry, the gravy tasted like flour.

What a wonderful and busy dinner. They serve comfort goods like Biscuits and Gravy, with or with out sides. Wonderful hashbrowns, eggs, pancakes. We only ate breakfast here but I believe the serve lunch. It's an old building, definitely not fancy but it's what you expect is a small town. The service was great, friendly They could tell we were not local, and made us feel welcomes.

Very friendly waitress, old hometown feel, food arrived quickly and was great! It's good to find these local places that cater to their customers, you feel like family.

A small unassuming family diner that sits somewhere in downtown Ottawa. Stopped by while visiting Ottawa on a work related task. Nice menu to choose from and lots of good stuff. Had an early lunch and opted for the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with fries and soup. The food was OK the bread seemed a bit on the dry side. Service was good and staff were very friendly. Give it a try...
