Bidrage med feedbackOn holiday in the beautiful otranto, we booked for dinner in this delicious restaurant, a few meters outside the center, that while not enjoying a view of the sea, has convinte for quality and for the section of the staff: Young and smiling. the impression was that of a well oiled machine, but above all a great attention to quality. excellent fried meatballs offers as it enters all, very well fried fried with burratina and tomatoes but a special mention to the strozzapreti with stracciatella datterini gialli and rucola. good choice of wines. absolutely excellent experience. content prices! to recommend without doubt.
On the edge of the old town, easily and quickly reachable is this restaurant. Unfortunately the dehor are on an open road to traffic, so, eating with the machines and its smog is not the maximum. made this necessary premise, the catering is very good, simple, of land. ..considering that we are outraged.
We had nice dinners at places inside the old castle precinct but this restaurant, just outside the old town walls, was the best food, service and value for money. We sat in the upstairs, outside terrace which was a nice atmosphere. The service was great and very friendly and the food could not be faulted. Unlike most other local restaurants it did not feature seafood which suited us as we were ready for a change. We had a pork dish and a grilled chicken with a fresh garden salad and small baked potatoes, all of which were excellent.
This restaurant is about a 5 min walk away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, but what a find. There was nothing I could fault with this place. The service was excellent and the food was 1st class. We visited the restaurant twice during our stay and we both tried something different from the menu each time and neither time were we disappointed. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food was cooked to perfection. The beef in onion and red wine was divine and the cold meat and cheeses for the antipasti, along with the house red went down a treat. Price wise you could find cheaper in town, but not for the same quality. Well worth the visit.
This little gem was so good that we ate dinner there twice. The focus is on meat dishes, a nice change from seafood. We had wonderful veal with pumpkin honey sauce and eggplant stuffed with meat. Delicious pastas! A little off the beaten track so felt authentic, but still very close to old town. We did not try the dessert. Highly recommended!
