Wildfire Grill - Osoyoos

I chose wildfire grill for a special birthday party and called a week before to see if they could take a party of 13 that they could. the day before our reservation I called to see if it was okay that we had a birthday. Bringing a cake to the restaurant was said and that they would see us for dinner the next day. at the arrival they had no record of our reservation. someone said we will see what we can do and had the demeanor that we somehow showed them that they expect a seat for a party of 13. I had 9 members of my family who appeared in 5 minutes to dinner, they brought out the usa! a woman approached and asked when she think she called her for a reservation? I said I know I called a week ago to confirm and ask if I could bring a cake. I checked on my handy to make sure that I didn't call the wrong number and I had actually called the wildfire grill. no confirmation of a miss, no apologies, no discounts or peace offer on the bill and no departure from the personal. the only saving gnade was our server, roberto, and eating was pretty good. go for eating, they don't go if they have to count on getting their act together. very disappointing.

Do not do it now. server was terrible. other tables that came after us were served before us. the guy who finally took our order forget what we ordered and sent our server to ask again. Meal came super fast and my man. forgot the protein of a coarse long hair in his burger. obviously lost our appetite. the waitress shook her head and asked what color the hair was (not the first time.) when the bill came, they put together the burger. when it was time to pay, the server swung to their tipp. I didn't tip and she got mad and said she didn't put the haare in the burger! there are much better places in town. steer clear of this one!!!

If I could give less than one star, I would like to do it first, the place smells bad. Secondly, we were accompanied to our tables and then people who came after us were served before us. Third, there was a big hair in my blue. käseburger. when we have the server, they complained that it was not fair. You know what's not fair? no one eats your fat dip. They don't do it, they'll be sorry.

We enjoyed our meal flatbread, pizza and falafel salad. friendly staff. we sat at her patio on the back, they had a nice music. it helped make our time in osoyoos better.

We had a nice dinner on their enclosed patio, on a rare sunny evening. While the interior looks a bit basic, the menu and the friendly service more than counteract any initial impressions. The calamari appy was really good light breading and crisp, and...the tiger prawn penne was a keeper too. Some good wine by the glass choices were just right after a day of wine tasting.
