We really enjoyed our meal here before Christmas 2018. I don't think the review before my review is a real one. Or someone has an axe to grind We were told before to try this place of people living in Osnabruck. It was the oldest or one of the oldest restaurants that was the atmosphere we were looking for. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and very busy this night. We were asked to share a big table with a family of 3 because we were only 2 people. It seemed strange, but that happens sometimes in Japan, we have nothing to do with it because we were starving. The service was not too slow, although the restaurant was not too busy. Our two dinners were delicious the chocolate mousse for Dessert was so-so. I'd be back if ever in Osnabruck in the future.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food! I recommend this restaurant! We stayed on the way to Belgium from a week in Sweden and Denmark, and this choice was the point on the 'i’ (good way).
On sundays thet serve a special offer. We had a 4 course menu for only €12,50. As starters a salad, 2nd a nice soup, main course 2 chicken brests nicely prepared asian way and finally a tasty Browny with Icecream. Very much worthwhile the price....If you do not take the sunday menu offer, the restaurant is less cheep, but the foord is fine and the staff are all very friendly.
We lived in Osnabruck 11 years ago and came back from Australia to visit. We used to regularly eat here and couldn't come back without coming for dinner. The menu was almost the same and we had our old faithful Grillpfanne. It was outstanding. The waitress was absolutely beautiful she made us feel so at home and we laughed a lot together.Traditional German restaurant with traditional fayre.
